Meaning fate and destination, the name Destino embodies the spirit of how our winery came to be, and where we are going. In addition to being committed to the art of handcrafted winemaking, we are also passionate about sharing our journey with our wonderful customers. Taking this philosophy seriously, and quite literally, we are excited to offer a wine club benefit unlike any other.

As an exclusive reward for any club member who orders a total of two cases of Destino wines during a single calendar year, we are pleased to offer a spectacular cruise of the Napa River for you and a guest. Hosted by founder Chris Calkins on his 45’ cruiser yacht—aptly named the Destino—these intimate excursions for up to eight people will include a sampling of Destino wines paired with an assortment of wine-friendly cheeses, as you languidly explore the majestic vineyards and wetlands along the Napa River.

To enjoy this one-of-a-kind wine tasting experience simply join our Captain’s Wine Club and purchase any combination of two cases of wine. Once you do, please contact us to arrange your by-appointment ride with Chris. For non-club members, or members who do not meet the two case minimum, we would be pleased to arrange an individual tasting at dockside guest house.

About The Captain’s Wine Club

The Captain’s Wine Club was created to ensure access to our handcrafted, limited-production wines for all of our loyal customers. Offering three membership levels, we send our shipments out by surface mail in winter, spring and fall to avoid the hot summer heat that can harm fine wine.

Crew Level Membership
Perfect as a gift, or as a way to start exploring Destino, with our Crew Level you will receive two bottles of Destino wine three (3) times per year for a total cost of $240, plus shipping. Featuring three (3) bottles of our coveted Cabernet Sauvignon and three (3) bottles of our elegant Chardonnay, this membership level represents a 5% discount off the retail price. To enjoy a ride for you and a guest, simply order an additional 18 bottles in the same calendar year.

First Mate Level Membership
This level is ideal for those who have already discovered and love our handcrafted wines. Delivering you four (4) outstanding bottles of wine three (3) times per year for a total of $454, plus shipping, the First Mate Level offers you six (6) bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon and six (6) bottles of Chardonnay at a discount of 10% percent off the retail price. To enjoy a ride for you and a guest, simply order an additional 12 bottles in the same calendar year.

Captain’s Level Membership

This elite membership level is for those of you committed to purchasing two (2) or more cases (mixed cases allowed) of wine in a 12-month period. In addition to receiving a 10% discount off our retail prices, you will automatically receive an open invitation for two on the motor yacht Destino, once your cases have shipped.
Note: mixed case price will vary from $900 to $1050.
